Akira: Oh! You have heart-shaped beans! You know what that means? It means you're a sweet, little kitty cat with a great, big heart, that's what.
(Sound of footsteps)
Owen: Well, would you look at that. Our great sage has trapped a poor, helpless cat by the leg. Such an unparalleled act of cruelty...
Do you enjoy bullying those weaker than you? I'd thought you were a kind, gentle-hearted sage, but I see now you're nothing but a ruthless, cold-blooded brute.
Akira: T-That's not what's going on, Owen. I'm doing some toe bean fortune telling. By looking at this kitty's paw pads, I can tell what kind of personality it has.
Owen: "Toe bean fortune telling"?
Akira: I just heard about it from an acquaintance of mine so I don't know everything about it, but it's neat how accurate it can be.
For example, if a cat's beans are round and pink, it's likely to have an active and playful temperament; if its beans have little black spots on them, it's a cat that doesn't like being bothered too much.
Owen: (Smiling) Hmmm. Sounds ridiculous to me.
Akira: (I'm not surprised. Owen can talk to animals, so an animal personality test probably—)
Owen: Does it work on dogs?
Akira: (—interests him!)
Of course! There's no reason it shouldn't. I'm pretty sure I just have to look at a dog's paw pads to read its fortune, just like I do with cats.
Owen: Then, try reading Cerberus's fortune. I'll call for him right now.
